REACHING OUT TO THE COMMUNITY TO DELIVER THE TRUE WORD OF GOD

 Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The Reformation will not be Televised…

What does it mean to be a ‘Christian’? What beliefs do they hold, what practice of faith do they follow? Do real Christians truly exist nowadays, in the Biblical sense?

These are pressing questions which need solid, truthful answers- especially today. As we descend further into the abyss of the spiritual darkness around us, the standard of God which is fulfilled in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ becomes more trivial, more ignored, and less preached or even discussed in modern ‘Christian’ churches, groups, and organizations. As the popular religious thought is emboldened by the pursuit of social empowerment and works-based faith, the truth of the Gospel has been watered down by many churches to no more than an afterthought and marquee designation instead of the “…power of God unto Salvation…” (Romans 1:16). Our Nation, our Communities, our Households are rife with thirst for a truth that appears to have ‘fallen in the Streets…’(Isa. 59:14), giving way to traditions and assumptions of Scripture which are not only unbiblical but downright deceptive.

WE WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE TRUTH OF GOD CONCERNING JESUS CHRIST. God will judge us according to the truth as it is revealed in Scripture. In an age of ‘Feel Good Religion’ and ‘I’m okay, you’re okay’ philosophy, it still remains that we will be judged on the basis of the Word of God.

We believe that many of the common biblical assumptions widely held by Churches are erroneous and hinder the true work of God in bringing souls into knowledge of the Truth. The Biblical Rap Session is an effort which seeks to begin the conversation among local households of faith and other quasi-Christian organizations and individuals in an effort to dispel common assumptions about God, Christ, the Gospel, and the purpose of mankind in general. Through faithful preparation and guided discussion, we hope to cultivate an atmosphere of sincere biblical introspection which will lead to an awe-inspiring Awakening among the leaders of churches, lay members, neighbors, and government officials across our great community. We believe that if we ‘preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season…” (2 Tim 4:2) the Lord will be faithful to bring Holy Spirit conviction and true Salvation to those whose hearts are opened to seek Christ alone.
